10 Tips To Create A Gift Registry!
You're getting married and in preparation for the big day, it's time to think about what you need. I'm talking gift registry! You don't want twelve sets of barware, and you don't want things that you'll never use. (True story: my father's best friend bought an Ice Cream maker for my parent's wedding. My mom's kind of crazy, sure, but it didn't matter, after that my dad never saw him again). Anyway, here are some tips to make sure that you have a gift registry that will be respected and fulfilled.
1. Do it early. Give people lots of time to shop for you, because hey, it's just more polite, and you're more likely to get everything you need and want.
2. Pick a store that you both like. It should also be national, so that if you have guests coming in from out of town, they won't have to scramble to get you a gift. The internet is great, but just remember that older folks may have trouble doing their shopping online.
3. Work together to choose what you want. I mean, you're getting married, so you've got to be able to work together. Whether it's modern, classic, eclectic, or retro, if you can't decide on certain items, compromise is always a sound alternative to arguing. You can pick this one, he can pick that one, or you can find middle ground on the one item.
4. If you don't know what to include, talk to a friend - preferably a married one. If you're having a large wedding, make sure that the registry is huge. There's nothing worse than shopping at the last minute only to find that nothing is left to buy. It's not rude to ask for a lot; that way provides people with more alternatives.
5. Be practical. Ask for things that you will actually use, like tabletop accessories for the kitchen, and throughout the house. When it comes to Fine China, it's nice to have - if you plan on entertaining eventually - but it's much more practical to ask for a normal set of dinnerware and tabletop accessories. Besides, if you're ever having a formal party, you can always borrow a set from a friend.
6. Register for sets in pieces. This allows people to not have to splurge on an entire bathroom getup.
7. But register for gifts in all price ranges because you don't want any friends down on their luck to feel bad when they can't find you anything on the registry. You also don't want close family to have to buy you a few smaller presents to demonstrate their love.
8. Update your registry often. Keep checking in to see what has been bought (like I really need to tell you that) and updating it with more gifts so that people can choose from a wide variety. Keep the ratio of available gifts to guests about two to one.
9. Gift cards are a great alternative to asking for straight up cash. That way you can decide exactly what you want and be polite about it.
10. Write thank you notes to ensure that your guests know you appreciate what they gave you. They'll stay your friends and feel good about having bought what you needed.

How does Arte Italica Dinnerware compare to Match Pewter Dinnerware?
More specifically, how does Arte Italica Tuscan Dinnerware compare to Match Pewter WHITE CONVIVO Dinnerware?
They're both made in Italy and dishwasher-safe on low heat; however, what's the difference between the two besides the subtle design?
The Neiman Marcus website states:
Match Pewter is handmade by artisans in the north of Italy. Each piece is made with an alloy that is food safe, lead-free, FDA approved and required little or no care. Since 3000 BC, pewter has been used to make functional and decorative objects for the home. Today Match continues this ancient tradition using methods that have been passed down through generations of Italian artisans. The hallmarks on each piece are the signatures of their skilled hands.
However, I haven't found anything online about Arte Italica in regards to "made with an alloy that is food safe, lead-free, FDA approved ," like the Match dinnerware.
Can someone provide insight about how these two compare?

I got this info directly from Neiman Marcus. Like you, I couldn't find a site anywhere near the Match sites that gives a better breakdown of the metals. But at least it is lead free.

Overview
One of the most upcoming villages in the Costa del Sol (Sun Coast) region is known as Coín. It is basically an Arabic village although its history dates back to Roman era. It is situated in the Valle del Guadalhorce region in the Malaga province.
The village Coin has been expanding all the time and many foreigners have started residing in this place. To facilitate these persons, there is a Foreign Residents department in this village. In 1925, King Alfonso XIII gave this place the title of a city although it is only a village.
The travel time to Coin either from Malaga airport or from Marbella is 30 minutes.
History
This village was well known in history well before Romans occupied this place. Marble from Coin quarries was used in the construction of the Roman town, Italica which was known at that time as Lacibi. This village was neglected at the time when Visigoths ruled the Iberian Peninsula.
In 929 AD, Moors occupied this place and Coin underwent lots of changes. Its glory was resurrected. Moors ruled Coin for a period of 500 years and they controlled the cultivation of its agricultural estates and influenced its architecture. The irrigation systems built by Moors were very popular and some of them are still in use.
Importance of the village Coin has increased considerably because of oils and wines. At the time of Christian re-conquest in the year 1485, it was taken in a siege. It was alleged that Christopher Columbus was also involved. In 1829, this village was visited by Captain Cook.
Climate
The maximum and minimum average temperatures in this city are 28°C in July and 11 °C in January-February.
Art and Culture
The village has important monuments and churches whose architecture is commendable. Church (alternately known as Caridad) is in this village; San Juan Church is one of the largest churches in this region and is designated as a national monument.
At the village center there exists a beautiful plaza wherein the town hall (Old) is situated. The new plaza has the New Town Hall and this has gardens, fountains, parking space, shops and bars.
Sports and Entertainment
There are a number of forests that you can see and enjoy and these are La Albuquera, La Fuente, Alpujata, etc.
Coin has two ferias in a year and these run for a week. This week is full of parades, parties, fairs and lots of tinto de verano (Summer Hue). There are lots of fireworks and funfair with rides for old and young. The last night of feria is mainly for the kids. In addition there is disco, music, etc. during this period.
Business
The economy of this village depends on tourism, oils and wines.
