help i need to know how to bake cake and the full process of baking cake including the baking utensils that is needed
you need a bowl and a mixer or wooden spoon, a measuring cup, a sieve (sifter) and a cake tin lined with baking paper. a good basic mix is:
125g (1/4 pound) butter
1 cup sugar
2eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla (or more)
3/4 cup milk
2cups self-raising flour (or 2 cups all purpose flour + 2 teaspoons baking powder sifted together)
mix butter and sugar until creamy, add eggs and vanilla and mix well, add milk and flour and until smooth. pile into tin and level top. bake 180*c (360*f) 25 to 30 mins. stick knife in center, if it comes out clean it's cooked.
