Over Sink Colander - A Tool You Must Have
Have you ever thought of how you can easily separate the noodles from the hot boiling water? It looks like a bowl pierced with small holes in order for the water to drain out, but at the same time allows the solid to remain inside the sieve.
Instead of having a built-in stand so that it can be placed on the table, over sink colander allows you to place it across your sink. A colander is a bowl-like structure which has many small holes punched through them.
Basically, a colander is a bowl-shaped kitchen ware which allows you to separate the liquids from the solids. The small holes punched on the bowl will allow the water to be drained out and the solid to remain in the bowl. This kitchen ware can be made of metal like aluminum or steel, or it can be made of plastic depending on your needs and preferences. There are various sizes and materials for you to choose from.
By placing the colander directly over the sink, it would be easier for you to separate the spaghetti from the boiled water. Colander is an inexpensive and necessary item that every household kitchen needs. It is a handy kitchen tool which allows you to drain away the hot water from boiled food, or for rinsing ingredients. You can even choose a collapsible colander which has an ingenious design which allows you to collapse it into a smaller size for easy storage. After washing your vegetables, you can also place them into the over the sink colander for it to further drip dry while you continue to prepare the rest of your ingredients.

Mixing copper accents with SS appliances???????
I have SS appliances with black in them, a granite counter that is camel, cocoa, black and beiges. The cabinets are to be painted some shade of brown with black accent handles. I want to put some copper accessories in the kitchen, i.e., a copper colander and copper utensils hanging on the wall. The copper looks great with the counter top, but will my kitchen look too busy because of the SS steel appliances and black metal handles? I love it, but am questioning if I am a little over the top. What do you think?

Remember accent pieces are just that,They are used to compliment something else.Just don't over do it,color is another nice addition, ie plants.
I'm big on old antiques,small pictures of old magazines in frames.I weekly go to thrift stores searching for unusual items,remember don't get gaudy.
