Vector vs. Bitmap
Some might speculate why vector art is now favored by many graphic artists. Several are accustomed to using bitmap images so they find it strange while many switch to using vector art now. The rationale is straightforward. Vector images are considerably better relative with bitmap images, in terms of scalability and quality.
Bitmap images are composed of just tiny squares, termed as pixels. When pixels are combined, these tiny squares can result to certain images that appear on the computer’s monitor. When bitmap images, are scaled up, one would be given a low quality image. Bitmap images are not good enough for printing, especially large format, since they give out unlikable images. Thanks to vector art, this will no longer be a problem.
Bitmap image pertains to those graphics and images that mainly use pixels to store their information. A pixel can be defined as a very tiny square that shows on the screen and that when accumulated form images. Given that bitmap images are composed of simply tiny squares, increasing their sizes may affect the quality of the graphics. Bitmap images are simply hard to scale up.
Vector images are chosen now by many artists because they are not composed of small squares. In addition, it brings out top quality images even if the sizes are increased. In coming up with raw vector images, you can either make use of Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator. But the photo editing software are not confined to these two. Also, you can enhance your skills in manipulating vector art images through the help of vector packs. These are available online as many sites now offer free vector packs.

Help with yard sale pricing?!?!?
My neighbors and I are having a yard sale together. I have several items that I am unsure how to price. Here they are:
-HP photo printer --to print 4X6 (lightly used.. i have the box and some 4X6 photo paper for the printer)
-wooden kitchen table for 2 (rectangle, purchased at an unfinished furniture store, is stained a light oak color--has fold down leaves to make it from rect. to square)
-Wooden night stand (older, but in good condition)
-Ceiling fan (light does not work but fan does)
-PS2 (older version, not the slim, with 2 controllers & all cords, has internet connection capability in back)
-Several PS2 games
-TV/DVD combo with remote(I believe it's 13 in.)
-8 Corelle dishes --plates, bowls, cups & saucers (older pattern black w/ pink roses)
I also have clothing, Coffee Mugs, dish drain, and many other odds and ends, but these are the bigger items that i was unsure of pricing for.
