How do you stop a cat from peeing in a big pot plant.?
I've covered the pot top with bark pieces but he still insists on be-friending the plant instead of the kitty litter.
Make sure the litter is clean, and then put a little of the pot soil in the litter. If you can, try to wash plenty of water through the planter to get as much cat urine smell out of it as possible. Then sprinkle grated lemon and/or orange rind on the soil in the pot. Citrus peel deters pets. Good luck.
