Le Creuset Kone Kettles
Everyday kettles are used in many households. It is a part of the kitchen and an essential kitchenware. You can get kettles in all different designs and colours to match your colour scheme. You see in many kitchens that they are used as accent colours and a favourite of mine is volcanic orange. A lot of kitchens have bright and bold accent colours such as handles and electrical accessories. Having kettles and toasters the same as your accent colour is very popular. A popular choice is Stainless Steel as you can match a lot of different items from different brands and manufacturers. You can find brands bringing out matching sets of toasters, kettles and other kitchenware. If you find a granit colour toaster, chances are the same brand will have the same matching granite colour in other essential kitchenware.
One stylish kettle is the kone kettle from the Le Creuset brand which is made from enameled steel. The colours from the Le Creuset range are really lustrous and vibrant. They have volcanic orange, pink and almond white to name a few. The kone kettles are made from steel and each peice is coated with hard enamel. With the kettles having a broad base this helps the boiling times to be quicker. The large surface are is also helped by it being a conductive material which helps in reaching boiling point.
The design of the kettle has safety in mind as the handle is high which reduces chances of getting your hands too close to the base. The handle is made from a Heat Resistant plastic. Having a tight fitting lid allows you to pour with no worries of getting scalded by the hot steam. The capacity of the kettle is 1.6 litres. The kettle is suitable for use on all heat sources. What makes it useful is it is easy to clean. Another feature of the kettle is that it has a fixed whistle and a stainless steel ring spout. The whistle ensures you know when the water is ready for you to pour.
The kettles offer brilliant enamel colours and selecting a shade is a great experience. The vibrant colours created by Le Creuset really deserve admiration. Another advantage is that limesale does not really build up.
Some of the disadvantages of the kettle are that the whistle sometimes packs up but you can purchase replacement whistles. The capacity isn't a great deal but nowadays people have both, traditional and electric kettles.

damaged enamel on le creuset saucepans?
Hi, does anyone know if the emamel has come off the inside of one of these pans, can you still use it? Does the food stick really badly, and does it make them really difficult to clean?

I think its more than justa chip, more like most of the bottom of the pan! But yes it would be used for boiling rather than frying so this is ok? Thankyou
Yes, I believe you can still use it because the core is made of Cast Iron. If it's a saucepan that you would seldom use for frying but would use mainly for boiling, then the food isn't going to stick much. But if the blemish is on the bottom of a Frying Pan, then the food s probably going to stick in that area.
