Would recommend it to anyone in search of a new processor. It's large and does take up some room on the counter but it's not like those little wimpy ones you see at Wally World. We were looking at getting the Kitchen-Aid pro with the same motor but it was close to 50 bucks more and this one comes with a nice DVD to help get you started if your not a pro in the kitchen. Now we just have to get a coffee maker that matches

What advice do you have for a 1st time renter and how can I save money on food, electric bill, cable bill etc.
My rent is 675 which goes over the recommended percentage of 30% of my monthly income. I make close to $1900 a month. Its a one bedroom and I have no kids or debt besides a student loan. How much will my electric bill be?
Your electric bill will depend on a lot of factors such as the size of your apartment, how energy efficient the appliances are, how well it is insullated, the weather where you live and your habits.
To reduce your electric bill: make sure all doors and windows are fully closed when you are running the heat or a/c. Close curtains or blinds in the summer to avoid letting sun heat an apt you are trying to cool. Set the thermostat a few degrees higher (or lower depending on the season) and consider turning it when you are away from home as well, such as when you are at work. You can also use fewer lamps and handwash dishes. Check with your energy co. some have lower rates for using energy at off-peak hours--for example in my area it is cheaper to run the washer/dryer at night then during the day.
Cable averages about $55/month but most cable companies have a basic package for about $15 which gives you 20 or so channels but you have to ask for it. Same thing with the phone company (assuming you have a land line)-Tell them you want the cheapest plan they have (often $10-15 less than the standard quote).
To save on food don't eat out as often, obviously. It is also usually cheaper to make your own food than buy pre-maid meals so learn to cook if you can.

Many people try to use electrical nerve muscle stimulation as a short cut when it comes to building muscle, burning fat and toning the shape of your body. Unfortunately, they don't seem to realise that short cuts have many shortfalls when it comes to trying them. If you want to look good and get your body into shape then what you need to hear is not that these wonderful machines can do the job for you, but that they will only work when used with an effective exercise and eating plan. If you are able to put in the time and watch what you eat, you can effectively control your weight and get your body into shape in no time. Getting your body into shape means that you have to set yourself goals and then stick to your plan to get yourself there. Using tens machines electrical nerve muscle stimulation alone will not be able to get you there if you plan to sit back on the couch watching television and eating potato crisps. In fact, you will do more harm to your body that way than anything else. Not only will you be adding extra layers of fat for the impulses to penetrate in order to exercise the muscles they way they are supposed to, but you will also be contributing to poor health by feeding your body unhealthy foods. The best place to start is changing the way you eat. You need to start looking at what you put into your body in a very thorough way. If you are eating lots of starches and carbohydrates then it's time for you to cut them out or at the very least drop them down to a suitable level. Carbs are only good for energy if you are going to be burning it; otherwise your body just stores it as fat. You should cut back on your red meats and switch to more chicken and fish. You also need to do a bit of exercise on a regular basis in order to supplement the toning. It doesn't help to cut back on the food you are eating if you don't do anything to burn it off.
Once yuo have those two aspects covered you can then use the tens machine as often as you like. It will work hard at toning your muscle for you even while you are relaxing at home or sitting at your desk in the office.
