Erased everything from iPod touch and want to restore to atleast factory defaults?
Dear all,
I have erased everything from my iPod touch by mistake. There is nothing even the iTunes software in the iPod. Everything is erased.
I cant see my iPod in my computer's iTunes when I connect it with my computer. It says that it requires iTunes installer to install iTunes into the iPod but I dont know how to do that.
Any help is appreciated.
You probably need to restore it. Restoring installs the original software and restores it to factory settings.

How do I delete everything from my Sprint Palm Pre?
I'm selling my Palm Pre to a friend, and want to delete everything from it. Can I just do a factory reset/full erase and sell it like that? Will they be able to use it right away with their own sprint number and contract if I do the full erase or do I have to do something else first?
That is all you need to do. Then all they need to do is contact Sprint to activate it on their number
