HOW DO YOU PUT CARBON DIOXIDE IN A JAR? im doing a science project. How can i measure how much CO2 is inside?

i was told to use dry ice, but i can't use it on a closed container.

Well you can put the CO2 in a jar by bubbling it up into the jar through a liquid that does not dissolve the CO2 like liquid mercury.
To measure how much there is, you need to know the pressure in the jar, and calculate by volume.
Or you could shove some burning magnesium in it and them weigh the carbon that precipitates but that is not very accurate, and it effectively destroys your CO2.
You could evacuate the jar and weigh it, then weigh it again with the CO2 in it, but you would need a very good balance..
Maybe plunge the lot into liquid nitrogen, then scrape out the dry ice and weigh it in a very cold room before it sublimes..
