The Titleist AP2 710 Iron Set 3-PW are the essence of advanced performance with multi-material, dual cavity forged irons that provide improved feel, classic blade looks and playability with shot control for the serious and skilled golfer. The stock shaft in this set is the True Temper Dynamic Gold and the stock grip is the Titleist Tour Velvet by Golf Pride.
Advanced Performance with Feel: High quality, high technology design and construction featuring a forged steel body, high density tungsten nickel sole and Tuned Feel System to enhance performance and feel.
Improved Feel: The integrated aluminum and soft elastomer Tuned Feel System in the back cavity improves sound and feel at impact. The soft forged Carbon Steel body and high-density tungsten nickel sole box reduces low frequency vibration, for soft, solid feel.
Playability with Shot Control: Dual cavity design pushes weight to the perimeter resulting in playability without loss of shot shaping control.
Improved Short Irons: Reduced bounce sole delivers improved ground contact.

The AP2's high-tech, multi-material construction features a steel body, tungsten nickel sole, elastomer bar and aluminum cavity plate. AP2 is built to deliver both performance and feel. The dual cavity design of the Titleist AP2 irons pushes weight to the perimeter for forgiveness. A central cross member featuring a soft elastomer cushion provides structural rigidity behind the impact area while also dampening face vibration for better overall feel. The lower cavity of the Titleist AP2 irons is enclosed by a tungsten nickel box. This high-density material locates the weight low and deep while providing structural rigidity and low frequency vibration dampening for outstanding solid feel. The tungsten nickel box helps reduce the sole and back flange width for better turf performance and shot control.
Titleist AP2 irons provide a comfortable and confidence-inspiring appearance in the set up position with a traditional blade profile and hosel junction. The metallic back cavity plate contributes to the AP2's great looks and bag appeal.

Are there any disadvantages to a hybrid iron set?
Im a very high handycapper lol and have just bought a hybrid iron set 3-SW, is there an disadvantage to having this set instead of traditional irons or a mixed set? Also is it worth investing in hybrid 1 and 2 irons and the Gap and Lob wedges?
Hybrids are great for the average or poorer player. There are some disadvantage for the top players. Many of the world's best players (not all) carry a single hybrid to use out of troubled lies, the rough and for special shots they have practised.
These players get better distance control, trajectory, shape and can draw and fade a ball better with a iron usually a blade. Hybrids for the average player, without this same skill, gain so much more through greater forgiveness and avoiding mishits, having cleaner contact, better launch angle (lower center of gravity) and as result better over all results.
Most golfer should replace there 5 iron down with Hybrids. That of course is a general statement that varies according to the golfer and their ability,
Very top amateurs and professionals gain very little and can lose some abilities with hybrids.
