Ridges on the bottom of this heavy cast-Iron Skillet make it perfect for grilling sausages, hamburgers, and steaks. Cast Iron creates superior heat retention, heats evenly, and loves a campfire, unlike flimsier pans. This 11-1/4-inch pan features a cast-iron handle with a notch to allow for hanging, and two subtle side lips for pouring off grease or liquids. While the pan comes preseasoned to keep food from sticking, it works best when sprayed or lightly coated with vegetable oil before use. This grill pan is so much fun to use. It lets us cook grilled stuff when it's not practical to go outside and fire up the real grill. Works outstanding in the oven, too. Get it super hot, sear your meat, turn the meat, continue sear, flip meat then put the whole works in the oven. I haven't had a dud meal yet when using this pan. Cleaning it is a bit tricky when stuff gets in between the grill lines, but that's to be expected.

Inexpensive, Heavy Duty, made in the USA, withstands extremely high heat, naturally nonstick, a breeze to clean. Rugged, can be used indoors or out. Leaves nice grill marks on meat and sandwiches. Makes healthier, tastier bacon. Has a steaming effect on burgers which makes them far juicier. Love all my Lodge Logic Cast iron but this is going to become a fav real fast!

Why does Nancy Pelosi use flawed logic?
Fact: Women pay higher health insurance premiums than men BECAUSE records show they go to the doctor more often, especially during child-bearing years.
I'm smart enough to know that, and I'm female.
Pelosi's interpretation:
"Being female is treated as a pre-existing condition,
and therefore, it is discriminatory."
Discriminatory???
Women have to pay higher health insurance premiums just like men have to pay higher life insurance premiums and auto insurance premiums.
It's not discrimination........it's based on the fact that they are more COSTLY and RISKY to insure.
Pelosi's interpretation was both ignorant and insulting. I suspect she was talking about women giving birth. On the other hand despite the fact that women go to physicians more often than men. all premiums should be the same. It parallels the Insurance companies either rejecting older or sicker people or charging them higher premiums. The Insurance Companies are rich enough to change their policies in that regard.
