Travel Mugs Are a Tried and True Method to Marketing
Marketing your company is very important. Without marketing, most of the companies we know of today would not exist and if they did, they would not be very large. For decades, companies have been trying to find a wide variety of ways to advertise your company around your area and the world. How do you do this though? Well, you can buy your customers a pen, or you can buy them something that is functional, and few things are as functional as travel mugs.
Travel mugs are a great invention that people have been using for several decades now to transport coffee from the home, along the road towards their work. Back in the day, if you wanted to travel from home to work with a coffee, you needed a disposable cup, or you would have to bring your own Coffee Cup. While the first one is bad for the environment, the second is very difficult to use without spilling on yourself. This is why the mug is such a great new invention that you can use for your own marketing needs.
Here is how you do it:
1. You find a mug that you think your customers will love. Try and choose a type that not only looks great, but which will keep drinks warm and cold depending on what is in the mug.
2. On the mug, have your company name and logo imprinted on it. By doing this, you ensure that your company is being advertised when the customer uses their travel mug.
3. Give the travel mug as part of a sale to customers, or give a personalized travel mug to your special customers who are loyal and come in often to buy from you.
4. Your customers now go out with their new travel mugs and they begin to use them. As they drink with the mugs, people see your company name and logo on the mug. This means your customer is advertising to others when they drink from mugs.
5. Those other customers then start to come in because they keep seeing your company name and that means you have established brand awareness, which is very important.
If you are going to advertise to your customers and show your customers that you appreciate them, then why not think about using mugs. Travel mugs are highly effective at making sure that you get customers coming in to your business without having to spend too much.

How can I kill mildew in my travel mug?
I have a travel mug that I use for coffee and water. I haven't been very good about cleaning it every day like I'm supposed to, and I think there's mildew in there, because it smells. I clean it with hot, soapy water, but it still smells funky. What else can I do? Obviously, I don't want to put chemicals in there because I drink from it. Please help!
Bleach is the only thing that kills mold & mildew the best for me. A soak in a 10% concentration with warm water, no soap or anything else, will kill the mildew. Then, scrub clean & rinse thoroughly.
