Where should I place the Soup Spoon after having finished my soup?
In a fancy restaurant, after having finished the soup, should one leave the spoon in the bowl or put it outside the bowl on the soup-saucer (if there is any)?
When a service plate under the Soup Bowl is provided, always place your spoon on the service plate behind the bowl. If no service plate is provided, obviously you rest your spoon in the soup bowl. Used utensils are never placed on the table.
