I have my MacBook on a wireless router and I have an ethernet cable running from my computer to my XBOX. I know there's a way to share the internet but I keep on having trouble connecting to XBOX Live. Can someone tell me in detail what needs to be done?
System preferences, sharing pane, click "internet sharing", select "share your connection from" and pick "airport", to computers using "ethernet".
Make sure the "on" is checkmarked next to "ethernet" and another one next to "internet sharing".
The Macbook will need to be on, and connected to the internet for the entire time you want to use it with the xbox.
