Generally speaking, the Fagor product line is very popular amongst kitchenware aficionados, however the 3-in-1 multi cooker has received rave reviews across the board. Made from a brushed Stainless Steel, with touch button controls - this Fagor model is a six quart unit with a removable cooking pot making it safe for your dishwasher. If you prefer the old fashioned way of cleaning, it also has a non-stick coating which makes removing left over food and juices super easy. As with most cookers, safety features are paramount. The Fagor has a self locking lid, automatic pressure release settings, and the lid won't open when there is pressure inside the cooker. It also has an anti-overheating protection feature just for additional security.
The multi-functions and ease of use are a huge plus. The browning feature is perfect for dishes like risotto.Although the six quart size may be a turn off, particularly for those who need to make large family style meals - it's the perfect for a couple or a family with small children who have petite appetites. On that same note, there's a maximum fill line that hits at roughly the four quart marker, if you absolutely need a minimum of a 6 quart stock - you won't find it in this unit. There are those who prefer stove top pressure cookers over electric pressure cookers, but the Fagor heats quickly and evenly allowing for better tasting meals and more accurate cooking times. If you are accustom to using pressure cookers with lid, keep in mind that the Fagor 3-in-1 does not have a lid. This makes grabbing the the pot insert tricky, you may also want to think twice about attempting to use the pot as a service vessel for this same reason. Most stove top Pressure Cooker users have grown fond of the the whistling sound associated with the pressure levels, of course the electronic units don't whistle - but there is a loud beeping to alert you. Most stove top pressure cookers operate at an average of 12-15 psi, the Fagor only operates at 9 PSI. This will require you to add more time to your recipes to accommodate for the lower levels.
All in all, the Fagor 3-in-1 Electric Multi cooker lives up to its promises. Between the rice cooker, slow cooker and pressure cooker,your family and dinner guests will be most impressed with your culinary creations, and priced at $150 - this is really a no-brainer!

Graniteware Stockpot?
Hi ,
I was looking for a big cooking pot / stockpot for a quiet long time , finally i saw one at the walmart its called Graniteware stockpot ( i bought it for 20dollar ) . Can i use this on the electric stove to make rice or curries .
