Day 5 - Take cabbage soup and not more than 20 ounces of fish, chicken, or beef. You can also eat up to 6 fresh tomatoes and drink water from 6-8 glasses.
Day 6 - Eat unlimited vegetables and cabbage soup and not more than 3 beef steaks.
Day 7 - You can eat unlimited vegetables and cabbage soup, brown rice (only 2 cups or less), and unsweetened fruit juices.
How it Works?
In principle, the diet works on low caloric intake. Danbrot makes a claim that by giving you specific guidelines of what to eat for 7 days, your fat and calorie content will be very low without sacrificing the vital nutrients of the body. The working agents in this diet are phytochemicals and antioxidants. Danbrot further says that the soup has no "magic" ingredients - the combination of "superfoods" make the weight disappear.
In addition, she mentions that this diet is never designed to substitute good nutrition. How many water bowls should a 6 dog household have?
The question is pretty self explanitory, I'm just curious if anyone knows specifics, currently there's a one gallon bowl in the kitchen we fill 3 times a day and a soup bowl in a bedroom that gets filled more like 8 times a day because the dogs seem to prefer it. Also, does anyone have one of those doggie fountains and if so do you like it? Do your dogs dig in it or play with it and how easy are they to clean out? Thanks.
I have four dogs. I have a dog fountain in the back yard (But don't buy a dog fountain. Go the the feed store and buy a horse waterer. Same thing - half the cost), and a water dispenser thing in the house if I have dogs separated. If it's a full open door day, they do fine with just the fountain. I dump and wipe it every other day or so, and they always have fresh cool water.
