Does Cutlery Really Make a Difference to the Enjoyment of a Meal?
There is an argument that the use of cutlery or the type of cutlery makes no difference to the enjoyment of a meal. For example, there are many meals when no cutlery is needed, such as a picnic and many people enjoy eating food with their hands. Are you looking for a high quality set which you will use when entertaining or are you looking for everyday cutlery which will need to be robust and dishwasher safe. If you are looking to buy for when you are entertaining make sure you buy a large enough set or cutlery canteen so that all your guests have the same type cutlery. For aesthetic reasons, it is beneficial that it comes with matching serving spoons. The quality of the cutlery is up to you, depending upon your tastes and budget. Washing Machine & Dishwasher, Coldwater?
Here are my problems, which may or may not be related:
1. Barely any coldwater comes out of my washing machine, it just trickles out. However, there is regular flow when I use the Warm or Hot Settings.
2. At the same time this started to happen, the dishes started to come out with a weird film on them from the dishwasher. My glasses are all coming out foggy, and my stainless steel cutlery were all coming out stained.
However, except for the washing machine, the cold water runs normal thoughout the rest of the house. And I would often find chunks of my dish detergent inside the dishwasher after the cycle.
What could be the problem?
If your water supply company has been doing any work in your area you could have a build up of sludge. Turn off the cold water supply and disconnect the cold inlet pipe to your washer. There should be a mesh filter, check if its blocked. You can remove it with a pait of long nose pliers. If its blocked run it under the tap.
