Safety Question: Do I need to replace my stainless steel pots?
They have rainbow-color swirl marks on the bottom from scrubbing too much. I am concerned they are leaching metal when I cook now.
They are perfectly okay to use. This is a Natural coloration from use. If you do not like the swirls put water in them then heat to boiling. Removed from heat and add oxyclean and stir until dissolved, let soak for several hours or overnight. This also works on food stuck to pan and you will never have to use a scrubber on them.
