Got Satellite Tv? Then You Are Ready For Digital Television
Have you heard? The FCC created another analog to digital switch date (DTV) transition for television. It's all be rather confusing as it is and now, we've got more to process…or do we?
Let's start with the basics of what we've known all along: all TV sets with a satellite connection or cable won't need a converter box in order to continue receiving broadcast programming. Eventually, there will be a time when you must have at least one of the three. So, right now is the perfect time for anyone who's been on the fence about whether or not to get satellite TV, to go ahead and do it!
Why buy a converter box and stay chained to the boring few channels you have now…you probably go to the movies, or rent them – frequently. Save money and get Satellite TV - it is more affordable and cable TV can't compare to the programming selection or the service. With satellite TV the analog/digital switch over is taken care of and it's something you don't even have to bother with. The changeover will take place on June 12, 2009, and you won't know it.
Although, you might be able to tell some of your TV channels look more vibrant and more colorful. But when the transition takes place, there is nothing you'll have to do. Why did the FCC do this? Mainly to give consumers more time to buy boxes or get their satellite programming ready for the switch.
The FCC Chairman said there's no "grand plan" of action they simply did it in order to make a better game plan and to make sure everyone is ready. See, that was part of the problem, they didn’t think everyone was ready. No one knows for sure if there are enough converter boxes for all the people who are going to need them.
Another reason, is that the added time gives some broadcast stations that need extra time to complete their transitions prior to June 12, 2009. Smaller stations with smaller budgets, might not have had the funds to do this by February 17, 2009. There really isn't very much to process or understand about the switch over as a consumer, especially if you let satellite TV do all of the work for you!

Does anyone know the photography rules for Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI?
Taking my son to the Taylor Swift B-93 show, and I can't find the rules to the arena anywhere on the website. Does anyone know if I can bring in my digital camera? It takes much better pics than my camera. Even if someone can point me to the rules, that would be great.
Cameras usually aren't allowed. Just like at the museum(s). They often ask people not to have photography.
But you can always call and ask.
