This water bottle is well designed. It fits perfectly into the cup holders in my car and it is easy to operate with just one hand. The opening for drinking out of is large and easy to clean. This lets me use the bottle with thicker liquids such as smoothies and soups. The whole thing comes apart so that it's easy to clean, but I do need a bottle brush to reach the bottom. The only thing I have to be careful of is to make sure all the parts are thoroughly dry before assembling otherwise I've noticed that moisture can wick through the inner seal causing a mess with the thicker liquids. I think this bottle is great and use mine all the time.

My sister in law had one of these and she really liked it so I thought I would try one. I carry water with me all day every where I go. This is the best water bottle I have ever used. It will keep my water cold the entire day. I bought one for my husband and I am going to buy another one to have as a spare. I left it at work one time over the weekend and was lost without it. My mother-in-law has also purchased one and loves it. I have had mine for over a year now and it is still in great shape.

I can only reiterate what most of the other reviewers have said--this is a terrific product. It keeps liquids cold for hours and never sweats or leaves a ring. It feels solidly constructed and well designed. I like the latching cap with the lock to prevent unexpected openings.
I thought I had a defective product when it leaked the 2nd or 3rd time I used it. However, it turned out I had knocked the gasket crooked and, once I reseated it, I've never had it leak another drop. I heartily recommend it to anyone looking for a product that does what it's advertised to do without a lot of bells and whistles and which feels like it will last for years. I like it so much I may buy another one so I'll have a replacement when this one wears out.

Do NOT use with hot liquids!
Ok, so I've had this bottle for exactly 7 days now and I LOVE it. It's stylish, doesn't leak, and insulates well. I have only used it with cold liquids but was interested in using it for hot as well.
I wanted to find out why the manufacturer states that it shouldn't be used for hot liquids. The scalding reason seemed insufficient since there are so many other similar Thermos products that can be used for both hot and cold.
Anyhow, here is the exact answer I received from customer service:
"Due to the mouth opening you can not control the volume flow of liquids.The hot liquids will also cause the gaskets to wear quicker and need to be replaced more often"
So, if you love ur hydration bottle and want the gaskets to retain their integrity, it's best not to use hot liquids inside!
By the way, Thermos customer service was wonderul as they responded to my email within a matter of hours.
