Where can i find Cake Decorating things in jeddah?
I want to make Thomas train cake for my son's 3rd Birthday.Plese any one no where can i by icing ingredients like glycerin,egg white powder in jeddah ,Saudi Arabia. I didnt find in supermarkets Plese help me
Hi! I'm a bit confused why you would want those ingredients. The only frosting that I know they are used for is royal icing, which dries to a hard crust and isn't especially tasty. It's probably the last icing I would use for a 3 year old's cake. Is there a reason you are choosing that??
If you could edit your answer and explain what exactly you are trying to do, I'd be glad to try to help come up with some better suggestions. For example, do you want the cake to be shaped like the train? Or is it ok if it has decorations on it that that make it look like the train. I took a look at different Thomas train cakes and found they came in TONS of variations.

But I noticed this guys step by step video and he used totally store bought mixes and frosting. While I'd prefer to make at least the frosting from scratch, you can see how easily he did it;
I looked at a good few of them and while there were several different icings used, not one had royal icing on it. Can you get butter, confectioners sugar, vanilla, and a little milk or cream? That's the basis of a standard buttercream. (And if you can't get confectioners suger you can put regular granulated sugar in a blender and it will grind down into the right texture.
But I'm getting ahead of things. First let's see what you are trying to do for you son! I'll check back later.
