Explore the beaches around Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast
Many small suburbs are springing up in Queensland, Australia. One of these, Twin Waters, boasts proximity to Maroochy River Conservation Park. When one says his backyard is virtually a natural wonderland, people living here can say as much with real meaning. Geographically your locations rests at about the centre of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
An important aspect of Maroochy River conservation is the care of nesting bird species. Examples include the wedge-tailed shearwater. Watchful eyes could also spot gliding squirrels, wallabies, kangaroos, possum and echidna. Gaze in awe at these marvelous creatures, imprinting memories to last a life time.
The water draws lovers of aquatic sports to this area. Fishing and swimming are popular activities. Around these waters, surfers and divers also enjoy a relaxing place to practice their hobbies and spot vivid underwater life.
There is more too. Beaches in this area form resting places between the busier aspects of vacationing. Stop at one and just listen to soothing sound of waves.
Twin Waters accommodation makes way for various budgets, couples and families. Caravan parks exist near the park, while hotels and resorts make popular launch pads for days out. Easily find somewhere to bring your kids or experience renewed romance in your relationship.
Twin Waters Resort offers guests many amenities. Send kids to circus school where they will learn the ins and outs of their future career perhaps. Two-wheel segway riding has become popular: try some at the resort. For parents, there is always golf or a massage. Two resort restaurants serve meals for morning, afternoon and evening clientele. Alternatively, enjoy a coffee or glass of wine at their cafe and bar respectively. Coffee shops enjoy a strong presence near your lodging.
Coffee shops are prominent in this region where it seems clear: Queenslanders like their java. Restaurants within a few kilometers include at least two Italian offerings. Australian cuisine is also available.
Strike out by car to explore the area. Points of interest include more conservation such as Mooloolah River Park, about five miles south. Australia Zoo rests a bit further inland but only a short drive away. Take this chance to meet some of the crocodiles Steve Irwin made so famous, maybe even watch a feeding session there. Easily board connecting flights between points in Australia via Sunshine Coast Airport, a very short drive north from your Twin Waters hotel.
Tours of the Sunshine Coast bring guests to shops, spas and wineries. Taste some fine reds and whites. Watch dolphins and whales from a boat. Launch into a race on three wheels with a trike or scuba dive and meet some aquatic friends. For points even further away and a touch of city life, board a train for about an hour on the tracks and you are in Brisbane.

JA Henckel Twin Cuisine vs. Shun Santoku?
I have the chance to get a pretty good deal on knives, and I'm struggling. I'm right handed, with small to medium hands. I'd like a new santoku, preferably with a 7-inch blade. The store I can get the deal at (Le Gourmet Chef) has a nice JA Henckel Twin Cuisine 7" santoku with the little divots in the sides and a Shun santoku without the divots (don't know if it has any special variety name), It's about time I got a great knife, and I'm looking for recommendations! The Henckel handle felt really nice - it fit right into my palm with its curved handle. The Shun handle didn't seem as stable for me, but perhaps the blade makes up for the handle and the extra price? The store doesn't have a big selection of knives - it's pretty much either Wustoff Classic, Henckel Twin Cuisine, or Shun.
JA Henckel is one of the best kitchen knife companies in the world. my biggest complaint is the handles. they seem much more fitted to your hand than mine. go with the Henckel, for sure.
the little divots on the side help things to slide off the blade, and to help the blade slide through meat, and especially fish, smoothly. you want the divots.
