I want to go to RADA. Any suggestions that would help me in my audition for RADA?
And I mean besides being a good actor which I believe I am, is there something that the RADA audtion panel looks for in your resume or way of being? I have so much potential and confidence in acting and I work really hard at it so I would like to know what could help me even more in my future RADA audition. Any suggestions? (by the way, I'm 16 and have little on stage experience. im trying to build a resume for my audition in two years. any great theatre programs in the OC that you know of , I'd love to hear from you)
There's a difference between you thinking you are a good actor, and people telling you the same thing. It's the most common thing in the world to have an over-estimated self belief.
If you want to apply for RADA, you'll need to think about getting a lot more experience under your belt. They'll want to see that you are dedicated to entering the world of acting. Also, think about the cost of going to RADA - you've got tuition fees, rent, food bills, etc. It's not cheap. I know people who have been trying to get into RADA for 6 years, but with thousands of people auditioning for 20-30 places, you have to show a lot of natural ability, and a keen interest in the acting craft to stand any sort of chance.
Help us name our baby boy, PLEASE?!?
Well, I'm half-Russian and have a Russian name (Rada). And my husband is also half-Russian and has a Russian name (Yurik).
We're having a baby boy in two weeks and we CANNOT decide on a name! The only one we have found that we like is Vasily (vuh-sill-ee).
Do you know any other Russian boy's names??! Also, what do you think of the name Vasily?
P.S.-We both were born in the US, lived in the US all our lives and are still living here, so nothing TOOOOOOO crazy or weird.
