How wide of tires can i go on the stock rims on a 76 pontiac?
The rims came stock on the 76 firebird trans am, i believe and have the 'spider-web' design to them. they're not the honeycomb rims, but similar. i believe that the rims are 7 inches wide and came with 145 width tires. how big can i go? 165's?
With 7 inch wide rims you MIGHT be able to fit a 265 on there, but prolly no bigger then 255, you dont want the tire to start cupping around the rim edge
