VTouchMassage Making Contributions for Haiti Relief
Vincent Monforte is founder of VTouch Massage and the VTouch Method. The Ft. Lauderdale-based licensed massage therapist (MA#51626) recently talked about how everyone in South Florida must be part of the solution for the people of Haiti. “The VTouch Method ensures expedited recovery, so it only seems right that all South Floridians must do their part in helping Haiti. VTouch Massage will donate 10% of all 10 series massage packages sold from now through March 31st to the American Red Cross. These massage packages, will not expire and can be used once or twice a week or once or twice a month.”
There are more than 400 Red Cross disaster relief workers on the island are continuing relief efforts; a number of local Haitian Red Cross volunteers who were personally affected by last week’s earthquake are rebuilding their temporary shelters and checking on loved ones.
The situation in Haiti remains desperate, but support from the American public is making it into the hands of survivors and more help is on the way. Red Cross teams from other nations are delivering clean drinking water to survivors gathering in six different communities.
The Unique VTouchMassage:
Unlike other massage therapists who have a routine or patterned body work style, VTouchMassage, ensures that the energetic issues, conflicts, blockages, are addressed in real-time with concentration, consideration, and compassion. The result is a unique experience during each session based on the client's conditions. Monforte noted, "I could treat someone a hundred times and no two sessions will ever be the same. It's really about "listening" with my hands. They are informed what requires attention, care, and healing."
Monforte's practice, VTouchMassage, has offices located at 120 E. Oakland Park Blvd., Suite 102 in Wilton Manors (just south of Andrews on the south side of the road.) Considered one of the most popular massage therapists in South Florida, Monforte strongly suggests booking sessions in advance to secure a particular time. VTouchMassage accepts Visa and Mastercard and appointments are made by calling 954-303-7069.

North Dakota, Where I Hang My Hat and Call home by James Veach
Getting closer to my retirement years, I can't think of any other place I would rather live than here in North Dakota. That's right, North Dakota, where I hang my hat and call home.
I'll be the first to admit, that some winters get tougher the older I get, but that comes with living in the north country. I can also say proudly that I can handle these winters of 50 below windchill and all. We just have to bundle up a little bit more, but for the most part is just the way of life in North Dakota.
Recreation is a year around buzz here in North Dakota. Winter time brings out the ice fisherman and ladies, snowmobilers, cross country and down hill skiing. Many people take to the ice skating rinks around the state. I like hitting the slopes on a inner-tube What-A-Blast.
Spring and summer make for the best in recreation through our wonderful state. Whether you are into hiking, biking, boating or swimming, it is all right here for everybody to enjoy. Camping may be your thing, well there are many campgrounds scattered through out North Dakota, many in regions where adventurous people like Lewis and Clark made their way through North Dakota on their journey west.
Hunting in North Dakota has to be like being in heaven. Whether your hunting for big game, water foul, pheasant, or other critters, it is all right here in our back yard. The last several years the pheasant hunt has been nothing short of phenomenal. While driving around in the country it is not uncommon to see roosters along side the road in the ditches, running around everywhere.
The North Dakota gun deer hunt is my favorite. Go out to my favorite spot and wait for that big buck to walk up to me. No really every year I just sit there and wait and usually not long into the day I will see a couple of does and behind them there is usually a big buck chasing after them.
Agriculture here in North Dakota is tops in the nation when coming to the production of several commodities. More durum wheat is produced in North Dakota than any other state. North Dakota crops consist of wheat, corn, barley, sugar beets, flax, sunflowers and so much more. Hopefully soon the Federal Government will ease restrictions on the production of hemp. This will be a big crop in North Dakota.
With all the buzz about ethanol now days, farmers are more often than not planting more corn now a days. Corn prices have gone through the ceiling the last few months and this is all because of the production of a renewable fuel called ethanol. Soon we will have to start using grasses ind other resources to produce ethanol.
Bio-Diesel is also becoming more important as time goes on. More and more people are using this great product in their vehicles now days. Many farmers are using bio-diesel in their farm equipment, and they claim it really does save in the long run. Not only save few bucks, the bio-diesel helps cut down on wear and tear on equipment.
Wind farms are starting to get the attention they deserve when it comes to alternative and renewable fuels. Near Edgley, North Dakota a huge wind farm is in place an producing many mega watts of power being sent through transmission lines to other states.
Also near Wilton, North Dakota there is another good size wind farm, producing electricity to help power homes in different states. More on alternative and renewable fuels can be found at my website, http://excelloutdoors.com
North Dakota is going to lead the way when it comes to the exploration and development of alternative and renewable fuels. Right now North Dakota is at the center of national debate on where it stands in the renewable and alternative fuel era. With all the natural and renewable resources North Dakota has to offer, you can count on North Dakota being the leader is this up and coming debate over renewable and alternative fuels.
But as far as a place to live, I believe North Dakota has something to offer anyone who is interested in being a resident here. The economy is booming, jobs all over the place for the taking, low crime rate, and most important of all, are way of life, easy going, hard work makes North Dakota the place I want to hang my hat and call home.
